At the AGM today, Chief Executive Dr Marc Pinter-Krainer will make the following statement:

First Quarter Trading Statement

We are seeing improvement in activity in our marketplace and a renewed consideration among potential customers to switch to more cost-effective market data service suppliers.

Knowledge Technology's business proposition remains highly relevant in current market conditions as companies seek new ways to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Our ability to deliver significant cost efficiencies in the provision of market data, together with our effective and flexible technology platform, is highly valued as indicated by our pipeline of future sales which continue to grow.

Since the announcement of the preliminary results in October 2002, Knowledge Technology has been on a short-list for several large enterprise-wide contracts. It is anticipated that some of these new customers will commence early next year and we look forward to updating shareholders on progress.
