Telerate Upgrades with Arcontech

Telerate, a leading global provider of real-time information and transaction services has completed a European roll-out of updated systems to ensure the continuity of crucial page-based services.
London-based real-time software specialists Arcontech were commissioned to replace time-served DEC PDP-11 systems with software based on modern Intel PC architecture.
The new systems perform specialist processing, particularly for adding value to contributed data. Thousands of pages are processed and produced, including many cross-rates and important fixings calculations, such as Libor, Sonia and Euronia, for which Telerate holds the EBF/BBA remit to produce the official figures.
