StarNet supports many market data feeds and inputs from data vendors, exchanges and other platforms. Dedicated servers handle the details of the particular input protocols and data formats. There is no practical limit to the number of different sources. Some examples are vendor data feeds like Reuter RSF+ and FTID (Comstock), contribution feeds like Marketlink, platforms like Reuters RMDS and feeds from Exchanges and Multilateral Trading Facilities (in MiFID terms) like Chi-X and NASDAQ.
Data can also be input from the desktop using client-side programs like the CityVision Page Contributors and Excelerator for use with Microsoft™ Excel™
Specialist or additional inputs can be built using the CityVision APIs.
